I beleive you were correct the first time, You are calling from a Mystic B it is Synchronet BBS that has the voting capablities. the (in my area) rem is whats kinda strange because most bbses these days can be contacted on t internet, and if you are still using dial up you can access a BUNCH of synchronet bbses worldwide using dialup also.

Yes, same for me.. guess thats why I opened one back up (none locally available) DOn't worry about the foot-in-mouth stuff around here.. with a of the people around here you cant say anything without them getting their panties in a wad. I could guarantee you today that I could write a post th says "Digital Man is the Author of Synchronet BBS" and it would get downvo by at least one person, and more than likely cause a flame war between 2 t more.. so you know.. just cant win for losing around here.. the same here. I connect with this one about 2 or 3 times a month to catch up with the operator and read these old messages. I remember back in the 90s using dial up and having to set it for auto retry to get in. Not any more! I can see lists of other bbs on here to connect to but I tried and they sort of all look the same so I just stay here. I havent had a land line in 20 years now. I am impressed that anyone still 'dials' into these things.Thanks. Will have to find a Synchronet BBS in my area.
