The latest "gotta have it, though I don't NEED it" gun for me is...

The Barkeep! From Heritage. :-) I like the faux case hardened looking
    model...

It's an interesting enough looking piece, but no ejector rod? I suppose it's to
keep weight down and minimize barrel length but I'd still like to have the little pokey thingie on the side of the barrel...

I've got several of their arms but I think I'll pass on this one, for short- barreled .22 fun I have a Standard Mfg. S333 "Thunderstruck."

It comes with a wooden rod to use as an ejector, just not made onto the barrel... Cause the barrel is not long enough. :-)

I've seen those, but not shot one... I like "cowboy" guns, though, so I'm
    going to get the Barkeep...

I have a 6-1/2" Heritage and a Ruger Wrangler as well. Again, I like my
    cowboy guns. :-)

When money is better I plan to get a .44 Lever action rifle and a .44
    SA revolver...

Which goes to the point I had made in the above...

I've two of the 4 3/4" Rough Riders as well as a 6.5", a Ruger Single Six, Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt (with a cylinder for .45 ACP), seven Henry lever action .22's (six are Tribute editions), a Henry .44 SP/Mag Mare's Leg, a pair of Ruger SASS Vaqueros in .45 Colt, an Uberti Cattleman carbine in .45 Colt, a pair of Pietta black powder Navys in .44 caliber and a Pietta Remington New Model Army in .44. Oh, then there's the Pedretti Sharps 1874 replica in .45 Colt and the Connecticut arms caplock in .54 caliber. Damn, almost forgot the Jukar .54 caliber caplock pistol as well.

So yeah... I guess I "get" the "Cowboy" thing...

LOL - yeah, having it made in is nice, but having a seperate piece is
    a 'novelty.'

LOL - I had a single six years ago - lost it in a break in at the house. :(

The local gun store had a .44 Henry carbine with the big lever - man... SMOOTH!!!
